While The Wesley Community deems this project as essential, this project is not a requirement – we feel it is the right investment to make for our residents. Wesley Health Care Center is committed to fulfilling our vision as a premier, personalized care setting which brings the comforts and confidence of home to those we care for, and those who love them.
Your donations will help us to reach our goal of $5 million dollars to help support this $20 million dollar Springs renovation project. The project will complete the second phase of renovations, including the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor of the Springs Building. This project will bring the following for our residents:
- An increase in private rooms from 9% to between 35-40%
- The addition of showers in every room
- The addition of a ceiling lift system in every room
- Each floor is broken into neighborhoods, which creates a more home-like environment for the residents on each floor
- A great room and a lounge, allowing for more social engagement and a community environment
- A light-filled dining room which allows for a café feel, and a welcoming space for activities or simply visiting with family and friends.
A https://www.thewesleycommunity.org/wesley-foundation/virtual-tour/" target="_blank">virtual tour of the completed 5 Springs floor showcases many of these amenities. Floors 2, 3 and 4 will be similar to the already renovated floor.
100% of proceeds will be used towards the project.
This project has 100% support of the UMHH (parent) Board of Directors, The Foundation Board of Directors, and Senior Management of The Wesley Community. For a full list of donors to date please look at the donor lists under Progress.
